Supporting OFC's Ministry
While I was settling in at Fish and Cross Ranch, a small plan started bouncing around in my brain.
Maybe that should read, a list of small plans.
- Jump back into the crafting that I loved when the boys were little.
- Share that crafting with others somehow.
- Promote Fish and Cross Ranch.
- Figure out some kind of revenue stream that could help support Outfitters for Christ.
1 & 2 are coming along nicely, although not quite as quickly as I'd like. And I'm still having a ridiculously hard time re-finding my voice. Something unique like I had when writing Finding Myself.
3 happens through the website.
4 has been a bit tricker, but I've got a few ideas.
- Sell some of my crafts.
- Develop some affiliate revenue streams.
- Maybe, write a book. This one is a bit pie-in-the-sky, but I've been tossing around the idea just the same.
I'm not ready to sell my crafts yet. Living in two places is something I'm trying to work through in my cluttered brain. And there are other things to consider, like:
- where can I find supplies for the best prices?
- how long will they take to get to Yampa? (If you live in the country, you get this!)
- do I make things first or do I make on order?
- either way, how much stock do I need?
- what is at the house I can already use?
Well, the list is endless, and sometimes, I am paralyzed trying to figure out where to start.
What I can do fairly easily is affiliate revenue streams, like Amazon. There is a learning curve, however, that I'm still working through. Do you know of something that works well besides Amazon? Please share it with me!
You may have noticed that I've gone back into some of the older posts and added some links. Someone bought something from one of those links! It was SOOOOO exciting to see $0.40 sitting in my account. hahaha
And I'm going to start a resource page attached to the blog, so you won't have to search for old posts.
Know, if you click on a link and make a purchase, you are joining with me to support Outfitters for Christ in their amazing ministry!
